As part of a bonding session, we intend to run 3 walks over the next three weekends subject to weather conditions. The first of these walks is a walk in the Killarney town park and takes in Ross Castle, with a meeting point in the car park behind the Plaza Hotel @2pm with departure at 2.15pm leaving a 5 min gap between each group. The purpose of these walks is to give our swimmers an opportunity to bond and acquaint themselves with fellow club members. It also provides the parents an opportunity to shop in Killarney while the swimmers go on a either:

(a) 5km Walk – 1.5hr

(b) 8km Walk – 2hr

(c) 11km Walk – 2.5hr

The maximum number in each group will be 15 and will be under control of a volunteer adult from the club. Liam will lead the long group on 11km and it is the intention to meet back at Killarney House after a stop off for a picnic at Ross Castle for approx. 30 min (swimmers to bring own food). If you intend to go please indicate your intention in the attached form. The current weather forecast for Killarney on Saturday is partly cloudy.
