Hello everyone,

Club membership for the new season is now open!

We need to have membership completed by September 13th so that the club has a firm idea on numbers for the new season. This will allow the club to book the relevant number of lanes at the pools and the coaches to get the swimmers organised into their relevant groups ahead of getting back in the water.

Thanks to the continued support of Declan Murphy in allowing the club to use his ClubZap platform, we can now process memberships online.

Membership can be completed via ClubZap on your phone or through this web link: Click Here

To complete the process via the phone app, simply login to Celtic Waves on ClubZap and on the bottom of the screen click on "My Club" and then on the next screen select "Membership, Pay your club membership in seconds".

You will then be taken to the main form. On the form select "Add Member" and on the next screen select "Child Membership".

Over the next few pages you will be asked for the usual information. The form and the process covers membership of Celtic Waves and Swim Ireland. Your swimmer's membership of Swim Ireland is mandatory as the club is affiliated and operates under their codes of governance which in turn allows us to enter competitions and avail of their swimmer insurance scheme, regional development squads etc. As such you will also be asked for your acceptance of various Swim Ireland policies around parental consent, data sharing etc, please read them carefully.

The membership fee structure is as follows:

Swim Ireland Membership Fee: €45

Celtic Waves Membership Fee: €50

Credit Card Processing charge: €3.45

The final part of the process involves completing the relevant code of conduct forms. These forms need to be printed off and physically signed. All the forms are in one PDF as some families will need to sign all of them, included are:

The Code for Young People (required for all swimmers)

The Code for Parents/Carers (required for the parent or guardian of all swimmers)

The Code for Coaches

The Code for Leaders (required for all committee members)
