Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas Day.

Swimming returns Monday 27th and the below times have been confirmed for the main squad groups. Please note that all swimming over the Christmas period will be in the University of Limerick pools.

For the Christmas sessions there are two main groups Juniors and Seniors. As a rule of thumb if your swimmer normally swims on a Wednesday evening in Shannon, they are in the junior squad and if you have a swimmer who swims (or has been asked to swim) at least one morning session, they are in the senior group. Invites will also go out as normal on ClubZap for your swimmers session.

The Junior Squads will train in the 25m Pool in UL which is to the rear of the 5om pool. Entry is by the front reception area for the UL arena but a one way system is in place for the 25m pool. With COVID restrictions in place, Junior Squad swimmers are to enter by the main reception area, make their way through the main changing area, through the double doors at the end and go to the designated squad rooms for the 25m pool. After swimming, the juniors will have to leave by the rear doors of the 25m pool so parents should be ready to collect them from the back doors as opposed to the main reception area.

The Senior Squad will be using the 50m pool so they are free to use the main changing area and exit via the reception area.
