It was great to see so many swimmers competing at the LSC's John Dempsey Memorial Gala yesterday.
John is fondly remembered by everyone involved in Limerick swimming and its a fitting tribute that there is now a gala specifically for younger swimmers named after him.
There were loads of PBs and some brilliant individual medal winning performances but maybe the biggest cheer should be for the bronze medal in the relay - well done to the entire team and the coaches.
Thanks to all the parents who supported and to those who acted as team manager.
