Well done to the Celtic Waves Swimmers who represented the club so well at the National Division 2 Championships over the last 5 days. Qualifying to swim at national level is an achievement in itself and something that you should be proud of. All 6 swimmers Nicole, Natalia, Aoife, Danny, Scott and Diarmuid achieved a personal best in every single event that they swam. In many cases they got their best time to reach a final and then bettered that time again in the final. It's a real testament to Liam, Stephen, Sheila and Elaine as coaches that everyone was reaching their peak just as they reached the end of season competitions.

We had some near misses with the medal table with a lot of 4th places for Scott and Danny. Aoife with 2 golds and a bronze and Diarmuid with 2 golds and 3 silvers both made a serious mark on the competition. Full results here

Well done also to Petr and Siofra who qualified but couldn't compete for various reasons and best of luck to Ashlee, Petr and Zac who will be representing Celtic Waves at the NAC in the National Division 1 Finals.
