Well done to everyone who swam in the Munster Long Course Championships last week. Some outstanding performances and great to have such a big team qualified for the event. Please excuse late posting of results. There were delays in their release by the Munster branch.
There is plenty more competitive swimming in the season. A good many swimmers achieved consideration and qualification times for the Summer Nationals and there will be a last chance to achieve an even bigger representation for the club when we travel to Cork for the Michael Bowles / Sunday's Well gala next weekend.
For the novice swimmers there is plenty to look forward to with the John Dempsey gala at UL and the Lahinch gala both coming up in the next few weeks.
Special mention from last weekend for Lauren who took gold in the long course 100m U12 a great achievement in what I think was her first long course gala and also to Zac who took a number of medals and contested numerous finals and seemed to get a PB everytime he entered the pool!
